‘Very upset’: Concerns raised as Stonnington Council delays motion on Jewish festival
Concerns have been raised after a motion to install a menorah for the eight-day Jewish festival of Hanukkah, was delayed at a Stonnington Council meeting on Monday night.
Stonnington local Sarah was at the meeting and told Tom Elliott there was a “huge sigh in the room” when the motion was delayed.
“People were very upset about it,” Sarah said on 3AW Mornings.
