Victorian Public Tenants Association CEO, Katelyn Butters, has claimed she is “very worried” with the state government’s housing plan, which includes the demolition of 44 high rise housing commission towers in Melbourne.

The plan would see these towers rebuilt for improved accommodation by 2051, but Ms Butters said she wasn’t consulted it.

“There’s a lot of detail about this proposal that we don’t have yet,” Ms Butters told Tony Jones, filling in for Neil Mitchell.
