Neil Mitchell’s decision makers’ series continued, with the man in charge of keeping Victoria’s roads moving. 

Speaking on 3AW Mornings, CEO of VicRoads, John Merritt, discussed the issues currently impacting Victoria’s road network. 

Mr Merritt shared Monash Council’s frustration with people who illegally dump rubbish, revealing VicRoads spend $100,000 a year cleaning up rubbish dumped on the Western Ring Road.

‘For every kilometre we pick up the equivalent of a 6×4 trailer in rubbish, four or five times a year’
