As you’ve probably noticed, there is a massive amount of work being done on Melbourne’s major roads.

Over the coming days, some big changes will be made to the Monash and Tullamarine Freeways, which may affect your travel plans, particularly if you’re heading to and from Melbourne Airport.

VicRoads CEO John Merritt also revealed that Melbourne would soon be home to Australia’s longest single-flow managed motorway system.

More than 30 gantries with electronic signals are currently being installed from Warrigal Road out to Berwick on the Monash Freeway.
