VicRoads issues West Gate Freeway traffic warning following serious crash

VicRoads is urging motorists travelling either on or around the West Gate Freeway to allow extra time during Friday’s peak following a serious crash.

Police later confirmed that one woman died in the incident after a car and truck collided on freeway exit ramp.

Those hoping to use either the Burnley Tunnel or parts of the Tullamarine Freeway are  being urged to detour around the city due to the congestion.
