Victim of Royal Women’s Hospital data leak speaks out

Almost 200 patients at The Royal Women’s Hospital have had their personal details accessed by cyber criminals after an employee forwarded work emails to their private email.

Sylvia, a patient whose details were exposed says she’s been involved in a couple of data leaks, but this one hits hardest.

“They were able to confirm at this stage what my information has appeared on the dark web, but there’s no guarantee that it won’t appear in the future,” she told Jacqui Felgate.
