Victim of two home invasions tells Tom Elliott she’s serving a ‘life sentence’
A woman who has had her home broken into twice says she’s “serving a life sentence” while those responsible probably won’t even be charged.
It follows fresh concerns from Tom Elliott that Victoria’s legal system is becoming “more and more” skewed in favour of protecting criminals, not victims.
Noelene told 3AW Drive she was “lucky” to get four hours sleep a night after her Hampton Park home was invaded a second time.
She said police had hit a dead-end with their investigation.
“I’m experiencing trauma every day,” she said.
