Victoria officially hits COVID-19 vaccine milestone

Victoria has officially hit a COVID-19 vaccine milestone.

The state has reached its 70 per cent double-dose vaccine target.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison confirmed the news on Sunrise this morning.

“I can officially confirm … Victoria has reached 70.51 per cent vaccination rate double-dosed,” he said.

Lockdown restrictions will ease at 11.59pm tonight.
