Victoria Police have hosted a Bayside Council neighbourhood policing forum following an increase of crime in the area.

Victoria Police Superintendent, Martin Bourke, says aggravated burglaries are a serious issue for the residents.

“I’d like to reassure the residents there … the local government area of Bayside is actually the third lowest crime area for government crime areas in Melbourne,” he told Jacqui Felgate.
