Victoria Police releases Christmas road toll figures

Almost 1000 drink or drug-driving offences were detected over the Christmas / New Year period.

Ten people were killed on the state’s road between December 18 and January 6.

More than 6000 people were nabbed speeding.

There were 502 mobile phone offences.
