Victorian cricket team’s $60k hope for Hunter Valley bus crash

A Victorian cricket team affected by last week’s bus crash in the Hunter Valley is hoping to raise $60,000 for the ongoing care of the victims.

Treasurer of the Warrandyte Cricket team, David Molyneux, told Neil Mitchell a GoFundMe has been set up with 100 per cent of the proceeds to be donated.

“We’re trying to do our part down here, I think what’s been a little lost … is that half the people on the bus were actually Victorians, so we’re encouraging people to support the Singleton Rotary appeal but we’re also trying to raise funds for our people,” he said.
