Victorian government eases border restrictions with NSW
Fully vaccinated people in NSW will be able to enter Victoria from October 19.
And they won’t be required to quarantine, even if they’ve come from a COVID-19 red zone.
Health Minister Martin Foley announced the news on Friday.
Those entering Victoria will be required to test negative to coronavirus 72 hours before and 72 hours after arriving in the state.
Those who aren’t fully vaccinated will still be required to quarantine for 14 days.
It comes as NSW announced it would no longer require fully vaccinated international arrivals to quarantine, at all, from next month.
