Victorian Liberal MPs the target of online hackers

Victoria’s shadow health minister has had several social media accounts shut down and almost $2000 stolen after she was the target of hackers online.

And she’s not the only opposition MP who’s been forced to deal with the issue of late.

Georgie Crozier and David Southwick have both been targetted.

Ms Crozier told Neil Mitchell it started with graphic pornography being posted on her Facebook page, which led to her being banned.

Those responsible also used credit card details to steal $1800.

She said her Instagram and WhatsApp profiles had also since been shut down.
