Victorian Local Government Association backs same-sex marriage

The Victorian Local Government Association has come under attack from Tom Elliott for weighing into the same-sex marriage debate.

The 3AW Drive host says the association should be putting its attention into issues it can actually control.

‘It’s not their responsibility,’ Tom Elliott said.

But Sebastian Klein, president of the association, wasn’t backing away on Thursday.
