Victorian researchers make exciting breakthrough in treating rare childhood cancers
Victorian researchers have made a massive global breakthrough that will allow doctors to use artificial intelligence to potentially help treat (and even cure) some 400,000 children with rare cancers.
The Centre for Cancer Research at the Hudson Institute has come up with The Childhood Cancer Model Atlas, which is the world’s largest collection of high-risk paediatric cancer cell lines.
Professor Ron Firestein told Ross and Russel they will use the technology to speed up that process.
