Victoria’s Hidden Gems: Why you should visit the Melville Caves

Neil Mitchell wants to get Victoria going again.

And one way he says it can be done is by uncovering a few “hidden gems” in the state.

Loddon Shire Councillor Wendy Murphy answered the call on Wednesday.

She told Neil about the Melville Caves, just outside of Bendigo, which are frequented by as few as 1000 visitors each year.

And while there is natural beauty and walking tracks, it’s the history of the caves that captured attention.

And it’s claimed there still is hidden treasure in the area!
