Victoria’s mask mandate on public transport to end

Victoria’s mask mandate on public transport will end at 11.59pm on Thursday.

It will also end for taxis and rideshare vehicles.

The change will bring the state into line with the rest of Australia.

The government will still “strongly recommend” people on trains, trams, buses and taxis wear masks when travelling.
