Victoria’s new shadow minister for cost-of-living defends real estate portfolio

“I was taken aback by that question yesterday,” he said. “I do have a few (investment properties), but most of those properties are managed in trust for my extended family.”
“I provide real experience as somebody that’s actually at times even had to put wages of my staff on credit cards to actually keep the businesses afloat. So I know what it’s like when it’s tough.”
In a wide-ranging interview with Neil Mitchell, Mr Southwick also outlined the cost-of-living pressure points he most wants to address, and took questions from listeners.
