Victoria’s Ombudsman issues warning over working-with-children checks

It is “too easy” to get a working-with-children permit in Victoria and the system needs to change.

That’s the recommendation from Victoria’s Ombudsman, Deborah Glass.

“I think it is too easy, yes,” she told Neil Mitchell.
