VIDEO: Arson attack on a Ballarat shop
Police are calling for public help to identify a man who set fire to a Ballarat tobacco store.
The fire broke out at the shop on Geelong Road in Mount Clear at about 10.40pm on January 8.

Footage shows the man smashing into the store via the front door, before pouring accelerant all over the shop.
He crawls back outside the shop and sets the premises alight, accidentally setting himself alight in the process.
The fire caused significant damage to the tobacco store, and impacted a total of five shops.
Despite a significant investigation, police are yet to determine the motive for the arson or the identify the man.
Police have today released CCTV and images n the hope someone will recognise the arsonist.
