British Open winner Shane Lowry took his Claret Jug to an Irish pub let rip in a rousing rendition of Fields Of Athenry.

Word reached 3AW Breakfast that there was a Melbourne man in the crowd, so Ross and John put the call out and found Simon.

“It was just so natural and everybody was so happy, it was great,” Simon said.
