Video: Super slow superload causes early Peninsula Link delays
One of the 72-metre transporters taking a 280-tonne viaduct from Kilmore to Frankston overnight was running a little late this morning.
Cars were backed up behind the superload for hundreds of metres on Peninsula Link, out-bound.
It reached it’s destination about 6am, with traffic clearing quickly.
The U-trough is to be used for a new skyrail.
Uh-oh, the Eastlink Superload is running a little late this morning … heading south just past Thompsons Rd. Relaxo listener Darren says it’s travelling alright at 30km/h. pic.twitter.com/WjfCxj9UcG

Can only assume from the lack of red on the map that the Eastlink Superload has arrived at its Frankston destination #victraffic pic.twitter.com/bnEGWtRgej
