Vietnam veteran reflects on Remembrance Day, shares ‘biggest fear’ while serving

Pete Smith was just 19 when he went to Vietnam, but says his “greatest fear” wasn’t being injured or killed himself.

He didn’t want to let his mates down.

Mr Smith is now the fundraising manager for RSL Victoria and spoke with Neil Mitchell on Remembrance Day.
