Vile racist, sexist, rant on train captured on camera

A disgusting rant on a Sunbury train has been caught on camera.

A man is heard swearing frequently, as well as directing highly racist and sexist barbs at fellow passengers.

In a statement, Metro spokesperson Sammie Black said Metro had spoken to the witness and an investigation is underway.

“While incidents like this are rare,  the behaviour depicted in this video is disgraceful and unacceptable,” the statement read.

“We urge anyone that witnesses dangerous or illegal behaviour to report the incident by pressing the emergency button in trains and on platforms or by contacting Triple Zero.

“Our Authorised Officers work across the network as well as a dedicated security and surveillance team who investigate every reported incident in collaboration with Victoria Police.”
