War memorial removed from the grounds of State Parliament

RUMOUR CONFIRMED: A war memorial has been removed from the grounds of state parliament.

“Olive Tree Gone” told The Rumour File about the memorial’s mysterious disappearance.

3AW Breakfast can confirm that an olive tree, and it’s plaque honouring the Australian-Greek connection, have disappeared from grounds.

HOWEVER, Bruce Atkinson, President of the Victorian Upper House tells us there’s nothing to worry about.

The tree and plaque have been temporarily removed as grounds are being maintained.
