Warren Pickering unveils plan to remove ‘crazy’ cabinet confidentiality laws

The Victorian One Nation Party revealed a new plan to publicise cabinet documents within weeks of decisions being made.

Victorian One Nation leader Warren Pickering told 3AW Mornings host Tom Elliott that the current legislation was what allowed governments to “become inept, incompetent and corrupt”.

“The Labor government calls this cabinet confidentiality when in practice, what it is, is a cover-up protected by a parliamentary act,” he said
