Watch: Brazen bike thefts caught on camera
CCTV footage has been released of a series of brazen thefts from bicycle stores across Melbourne and Geelong.
All up, police have identified seven incidents across the Melbourne Cup period — all believed to be linked — where offenders simply walked in and ran away with bikes.
In one incident, caught on camera, the owner ran after the thief and pulled the bike from his ute tray.
