Frontline heroes spark joy with ‘magnificent’ international scrub choir

As the year comes to a close, the Royal Melbourne Hospital’s scrub choir has gone global!
The frontline workers have collaborated with other health workers around the globe to launch Scrub Choir Plus.
They’ve joined forces with workers from across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Norway and Japan now a part of the virtual choir.
Neil Mitchell says the video they’ve put together is “magnificent”.
Head of music therapy at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, Dr Emma O’Brien, says it’s “been wonderful to connect with people around the world”.
“We spend a lot of time doing a really good guide track, and then it’s like karaoke for every single part,” she told Neil Mitchell.
