WATCH: Police tackle woman who flees car after bizarre CBD chase

Police have arrested a woman in dramatic fashion following a bizarre pursuit in the CBD.

A woman was seen driving erratically around Russell Street, between Bourke and Little Collins, on Tuesday morning.

Police used stop sticks to bring the car to a halt.

When it finally came to a stop, the woman tried to flee on foot before falling over.

She’s now in custody.
