Wayne Gatt lifts the lid on Victoria Police’s outdated technology

Victoria Police chief commissioner Mike Bush spoke to 3AW Mornings Tom Elliott on Monday morning and confessed police technology is “5-10 years” behind where it should be.

Secretary of The Police Association Wayne Gatt joined 3AW Drive and revealed that Victoria Police are still using fax machines.

“Despite a couple of little improvements here and there, it is largely the same as it was when I first joined,” Gatt said.
