‘Weak, feckless’: Sam Newman fires up after being cancelled from local football club event

Sam Newman has fired up after being cancelled from a fundraising event at the Barwon Heads Football Netball Club.

Fellow AFL great Wayne Carey has also been cancelled from the event, which is set to take place later this month.

“The problem is that you have weak, feckless, vapid committees who sign you up to come and speak … they just roll over because they are feckless,” Newman told Tom Elliott on 3AW Mornings.
