Well-known satirist and writer John Clarke dead at 68, Ross Stevenson pays tribute on 3AW
John Clarke has died aged 68.
The well-known satirist passed away on Sunday while hiking in the Grampians National Park.
He died from natural causes.
The comedian and writer was a regular feature on Australian television, famous for his political send-ups and appearances on shows like Kath and Kim and The Lano and Woodley Show.
3AW’s Ross Stevenson co-wrote The Games with Clarke and paid tribute on Monday morning.
‘In my view, he was the greatest satirist in the English language,’ the 3AW Breakfast host said.
‘He was a wonderful man.’
