‘Went too far’: Tom Elliott weighs in on the State of Origin national anthem controversy

Tom Elliott says Australian Idol winner Dylan Wright’s rendition of the Australian national anthem “went too far” before last night’s State of Origin match.

The 3AW Mornings host thinks the national anthem “shouldn’t be fiddled with”.

“I don’t like liberties being taken with the national anthem,” he said.
