Werribee man caught speeding more than 120 kilometres over the limit

A Werribee man has had his car impounded and will face court after being caught travelling a staggering 120 kilometres over the speed limit at Rockbank on Wednesday.

The man, 21, was clocked at 200km/h on Middle Road at 12.30pm.

The speed limit on that road is 80km/h.

Police confirmed his car had been impounded, incurring costs of $983.

He’s been charged on summons with speeding and other traffic offences.
