Werribee shooting: Melbourne’s gun crime continues

FIRST ON 3AW: There’s been another shooting this morning, the seventh in as many days in Melbourne and surrounds.

3AW Mornings can reveal a man arrived at Werribee Mercy Hospital with gunshot wounds this morning.

It followed reports of a shooting at a Kealba intersection, which paramedics attended but found no victim.

This morning’s shooting follows others in Kings Park and Sunshine over the weekend.

It continues a worrying trend of gun violence in Melbourne, which included a drive-by shooting at the home of Racing Victoria integrity boss Terry Bailey last week.
