The inbound West Gate Tunnel is temporarily closed following the activation of the deluge system during hot conditions.

A Transurban spokesperson told 3AW Drive, “There is no fire and no risk to motorists; however, false alarms triggered the system to release water into the tunnel, requiring a temporary closure.”
