Western Australia dead “serious” about trying to pinch the grand final!

Western Australia’s sports minister has doubled down on his government’s bid to “bet” the location of next year’s grand final on this weekend’s match.

They want to pinch it from the MCG and say they’re dead serious about it.

Nick McCallum first spoke with Mick Murray.

“You know, of course, the MCG is the premier sporting location in Australia,” Nick said.

“It used to be,” was the minister’s response!

His Victorian counterpart then returned fire.

“They’re dreaming,” John Eren said on 3AW Drive.

Mr Eren then offered an alternate bet!

He’s promised to light the MCG in West Coast colours should the Eagles win on Saturday.

But are they game to do the same at Optus Stadium, should the Pies salute?
