Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge ‘disappointed’ with commentary surrounding ‘game leak’ investigation
Western Bulldogs coach Luke Beveridge admits he’s been ‘disappointed’ with some of the commentary surrounding the investigation into an alleged leak of ‘game-sensitive’ information.
But he’s confirmed one of the two players at the centre of the probe – Michael Talia – won’t be with the Bulldogs next season.
Beveridge, who was named the AFL Coaches Association coach of the year on Tuesday, joined Sports Today to speak about his massive year with the Bulldogs.
He was asked for the latest on the investigation, but said he couldn’t comment and was disappointed others had.
‘It’s in the AFL hands there,’ Beveridge explained on 3AW.
‘It’s been tough. We can’t comment on it.
‘As I said this morning, I’m pretty disappointed that a couple of parties have spoken publicly about it and talked about things that may or may not have happened, which may or may not be true.
‘At the end of the day, it’s a serious issue and the AFL is doing their best to get to the bottom of it.
‘So, we need to keep our powder dry there and just wait for wait the findings.
‘But Michael won’t be with us next year.’
