The Western Bulldogs President says the moment Luke Beveridge handed injured skipper Bob Murphy his premiership medal was a noble act of sportsmanship that will be forever remembered in the history of our game.

Despite the generous gesture, Peter Gordon has told Neil Mitchell he wants another medal made up for their coach.

?We will be writing to the AFL today suggesting that if there is some rule, and I don?t know how the rules of the AFL work in this regard.’

?I think that all of Australia, and certainly the whole football public would think that a deserving and decent thing to do would be to strike another medal and give it to Bevo. That would be, I think, the right thing to do.? ? Peter Gordon said on 3AW Mornings.

Gordon says he’s now weighing up his future at the club and will make up his mind later in the week.

He believes the club is on the right path and now might be the right time to leave.

He says he doesn’t know – ‘I have asked myself that question, truthfully, in the last twenty four hours.’
