Westpac customers impacted by double deduction on home loans

Westpac mortgage customers have been impacted by a “technical” problem, which has seen home loan payments mistakenly deducted twice.

Caller Jake alerted 3AW Mornings to the issue, which Westpac say affected customers who recently settled on home loans.

“My home loan and the repayments were deducted twice and so have many other people I’ve contacted,” he told Heidi Murphy.
