Wet road conditions cause chaos on Melbourne roads, with one motorcyclist killed

Motorists are being reminded to drive to the condition, following a couple of crashes across Melbourne this morning.

Emu Road in Maidstone is closed, a child believed to be among two people suffering minor injuries after a car hit a pole.

Two men have minor injuries after being hit by a car at Abbottsford.

While a motorcyclist has died after losing control and crashing at a roundabout on High Street in Melton at 2.30am.

The road toll now stands at 49, that’s 26 less than this time in 2016.
