What a ‘prominent’ member of Melbourne Jewish community told Tom Elliott following ‘nasty’ protests
Tom Elliott says a prominent member of Melbourne’s Jewish community has told him some kids aren’t going to school as a result of the heightened risk of antisemitism.
The comments come after pro-Palestinian protests broke out in Caulfield on Friday night as the war between Israel and Hamas continues to rage in the Middle East.
After meeting a key member of the Jewish community on Monday, Tom said he was horrified to hear the extra steps that are having to be taken to keep people safe.
