What a war veteran wants you to think about today

Former RSL president Major General David McLachlan has shared some Anzac Day words of advice on 3AW.

He told Neil Mitchell people should reflect on what war and national service does to families.

“To think about the service of our men and women, both in the past and those serving today and think about the impact it has on their families while they’re away and often when they come home as the veteran learns to re-accommodate civilian life,” he said.
