Ash Barty has commented on the ongoing furore surrounding the number of cameras inside player areas at the Australian Open.

The situation has exploded in recent days after Coco Gauff was pictured smashing her racquet in an internal corridor after her loss in the quarterfinals.

For Barty, during her career, she says she was always mindful of where the cameras at tournaments were placed.

“No doubt over the last few years, the visibility for the public has increased to give the public more of an insight into what (we) go through.”
