What caught Heidi Murphy’s attention from Tasmanian leaders’ debate
Tasmanians are set to go to the polls again on Saturday, as premier Jeremy Rockliff goes up against Labor opposition leader Dean Winter.
The two fronted a debate ahead of the election, with Mr Winter saying he would resign if he didn’t deliver 10 bulk-billed GP clinics across the state if he becomes the new premier.
Heidi Murphy said that after watching the debate on Wednesday afternoon, she was taken aback that the Tasmanian opposition leader was so strong on that promise and wonders whether any Victorian politician will be as steadfast ahead of next year’s state election.

“It’s easy to throw out a promise in an election campaign,” she said on 3AW Drive.
“But it’s so much harder to deliver.”
