What concerns Neil Mitchell most about the ‘challenging time ahead’ for Victoria

Neil Mitchell is backing Victorians to get through the challenging months and years ahead, but admits the “divide” in the community is troubling him.

He says the state needs strong leadership.

“I think we are heading into probably the toughest period in Victoria’s history, and we are divided,” the 3AW Mornings host said on Thursday.

“We are split, we are angry, we are fighting – what we need is a sense of unity, a sense of purpose and some leadership.

“To get through this, we need every ounce of community focus and goodwill and determination, and we haven’t got it.

“It’s quite frightening.”
