What consumers really want from Qantas according to an expert

Qantas’ decision to reward passengers after they revealed record profits has been described as ‘bribery’ by experts.

Chair of the Consumers Federation of Australia, Gerard Brody, says Australians would rather lower airfares.

“It is a bit of marketing to offer additional Qantas points in my view, I think what consumers really want when it comes to aviation in Australia they want two things, they want lower prices for airfares … and they want stronger consumer rights,” he told Neil Mitchell.
