What Heidi Murphy finds ‘cheeky’ ahead of new state budget

State political reporter for Nine News, Heidi Murphy, says we should not be grateful towards the government following their call to not impose any new taxes in the new state budget.

The new state budget gets released tomorrow, and Heidi Murphy discussed what to expect with Tony Jones on 3AW Drive.

Murphy said their claims to have no brand new taxes is “cheeky”, as they are instead making increases to pre-existing ones.

“They know they can’t keep pushing us any further so that’s why they have had to ease back a bit,” she said on 3AW.
