What Nick McKenzie found ‘striking’ about bombshell CFMEU letter to Jacinta Allan

Investigative journalist Nick McKenzie says he was taken aback by allegations against the CFMEU sent to Victorian premier Jacinta Allan in 2022.

The state government has been left reeling for a second consecutive today by reporting from Mr McKenzie, who revealed Ms Allan knew about serious threats of violence and bullying tactics in the union for several years.

“The letter that was sent (to Jacinta Allan) is just one complaint,” Nick McKenzie told Jacqui Felgate.

“What was striking about it was just how detailed it was.”
