French Heirloom Pumpkin

Diggers Seeds were showing off beautiful pumpkins, squash and garlic at their stand at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show. One of the pumpkins was named ‘Wartie’ and if you like something unusual in the garden and delicious to eat look out for this variety later this year

Hanging Baskets for everyone

The Royal Horticultural Society Victoria’s Hanging Basket Competition is all about ‘having a go’ and there were many amazing combinations  of plants, veggies, herbs etc to create winning entries. Have you ever thought of putting a Hydrangea paniculata in a very large hanging basket. Formosa Garden Centre, Ballarat did and it was spectacular.   rhsv.org.au
